Supply anomaly not on time in full? They like to do predictive analytics. Help planners to negotiate with suppliers, but no forecasting model for the moment.
Looking for solutions? We need to come up with what we want, big process and bureaucracy before getting approval to start a project. Lot of people with different opinions.
Challenge: So much report, he needs to reduce number of reports and make them more meaningful and powerful.
Disruptions? Suppliers are not mature in supply chain tools. Not very lean not very smart. Quality issues a lot in disruptions. Low volume but big impact. Sometimes there is an issue but we don't know the impact on the supply chain. How bad a supplier delays impact on our industry? Difficult to answer according to him.
No solution in the market? It's easier for them to hire few developers and do it themselves then to work with a third party.
Can we do it now? IT says will take too long
Cloud pure solutions? If we can proof that we can do it fast without IT they will be onboard. Security and IT is difficult.
Scheduling? Inefficient way, scattered tooling, lot of planners for just two factories.
[pitch]
Difficult technology for smart scheduling.
We need to start as quickly as possible but keeping a standard (good performance). They have dozens of hundreds of excel. They want to get rid of them but they want to stay flexible.
They are growing (4% a year) and they have a scalability problem. Lot of things in the planning, but what is the top X that I need to investigate on. Is it operational or strategy? All levels, but definitely operational level. Bad feedback-loop.
A small usecase to first tackle? Integrate quality and logistic data, takes into account proper yield etc.. In the operational layer, what to predict to 0 and 3 months and feedback-loop with strategic level. S&OP process is ok process.
Working with us // Contact ? Lot of people doing small initiatives. They hire developers to do some projects. It's possible if they don't need to involve IT. But we need to clear on the proposition, the benefits for them. Plug and play, flexible and good performant solution for scheduling.
Where do u think the value is between suppliers issue or smart scheduling? Easy to work with him for suppliers. For scheduling, lot of initiatives are ongoing.
