Copy of Customer meeting 7/5/21
Notes
- What ERP do you have?
- Is export to SFTP a problem?
425 DC have to be managed with 700 and 1000 SKUs —> data flow is huge, we currently extracting 5-6m records per day (requires one hour calculation)
- Can you deliver 2+ years of data? → 10 years of monthly data
- Quite dynamic supply chain map → we need to receive a map with the coding
- Product substitution exists but need to be checked
- Can we have PoolCorp involved?
No, it is still the customer - we have to be careful
They are not very organized
We are working with them to provide feedback on order status via direct connection
Is already trying to sell his vision to PoolCorp
- What scope makes sense → one region? one state?
- Very seasonal market but very different approach
- He played around with statistical forecast but did not find any results on DC or city level because demand is too intermittent —> long term forecast rather on regional (aggregated) level + short term (2-3 months)
- He needs visibility to priorizie which DCs is most urgent, globally —> we could create virtual regional supplier to consolidate all orders
- They currently have 2 Fluidra DCs that get delivered from internal and external suppliers (Los Angeles for Californa (30% of shipments), Memphis - Tennesse for East Coast until half Texas)
- The PoolCorp acts totally independently → they have their own P&L and don't transfer inventory
- Stock Out considered when Stock = 0
- They are working on a DRP
- Users at Fluidra: 3-6 users because is centrally managed
