Post-mortem (29/04/22)
Attendants: Eric
- Wanted to advance on their Demand planning, e.g. S&OP, Very strong fixed cost monitoring, preservation of cash flow —> crisis in terms of automotive
- Erratic (internal) customers, super unreliable orders and order book —> problem is coming from OEM because they never know when the chips are coming
- AI could not handle it
- Planning: Stock performance: Mid term —> Thierry/Marc still sees value but currently big inflation of raw material (price increase) —> GVS is building own stock to protect before summer again to protect against price increase
- Supplier cannot have visibilty on the stock built-up
- Flowlity not seen as a tool but only as an algorithm
- Does Flowlity add still value if 89-90% have to be modified
- We are a decision making support tool for a person that does not make decision —> planning decisions are strategic
—> What other customers do we have with this pattern —> When is planning NOT dependent on demand
