MIBA meeting with Stefan 27-07.21 Scope:
- User is working per supplier, so we should select one supplier
- Validation period: 2-4 months -> to be discussed
Success criteria:
- Less escalation, positive feedback from production that RM is available (higher on-time delivery is the final goal but hard to measure)
More points:
- They currently have frozen capacity for 2021 with their steel suppliers
- 5 months project sounds reasonable (2 months integration, 1 month model training, 2-3 months validation)
- Other divisions also look into Forecasting solution (incl. S&OP), so it is becoming a bigger topic -> bigger benchmark (we had a call with Gartner: "We have heard of Flowlity but it is more a stock optimization although they also do effort on forecasting), FutureMaster, John Galt, Vengat, Tools Group
- Criteria: Ease of implementation + costs + value-added + manual effort in the daily tasks-> looking for at least 20% improvement -> maybe John Galt only for the S&OP project phase (2-6 months)
- Timeline for forecast End of August (Stefan is out first 2 weeks of July)
