SG Autover: User deep dive (Finland)

Kick-Off notes:

Business context

• Cross-docking flow to be kept in mind (direct shipment from Bastogne to customers): Finland not affected but happening in Spain, France or Germany

• Integration with SAP

Leadtime to Finland is longer than 10 days, 95% of products are coming from Bastogne

SAP integration:

• Data extract from Production agreed

• Writing back to SAP would mean we do a pilot in production → to be assessed based on success criteria

• Proposal:
  • Phase 1: Offline comparison
  • Phase 2:
    • MRP still running, PurReqs to be flushed
    • Purchase requisitions to be written in SAP
    • User able to validate and release

• Timeline:
  • Target to have output by March because there is the regular forecast exercise
  • No SAP developments possible in January
    • End of Dec: Hard to stop for any modification
    • Christmas:
    • Write back: Preparation & requirements to be discussed in Jan; Development in Feb
    • Season to start in April: Building up stock for the season

  • Update frequency:
    • Daily update is enough
    • Each Tuesday, the MRP is running because orders have to be placed → Doing this on Monday is not good
    • The PurReqs conversion to PO is triggered by planner

  Action:

  • Create time schedule for synchroziation with SAP
  • Schedule meeting for success criteria: Jari, Jean-Marc, Lukas
