We are Flowlity and we are solving a $2 Trillion dollar problem.

This is the amount lost every year due to a combination of overstocks and out-of-stocks in the supply chain.

Let me tell you about Mathieu, Supply Chain manager at Peugeot. Because of a bad supply chain planning, he uses helicopters once a month to ship raw materials just not to stop the production line. When it happens, like in 2017 Peugeot lost 200 millions in only 3 weeks.

We are in 2018 and Supply chain managers are still using static formulas from 1934, have no visibility on what's happening on the supplier side and are using excel sheets to deal with all data they have.

So Mathieu from Peugeot told us that he is powerless because he has no visibility on its suppliers and the suppliers of its suppliers. So, this is why we started POCs with Saint-Gobain, AkzoNobel and Michelin which are all suppliers of Peugeot. By using machine learning, optimization and data from their suppliers, we are helping them manage better their stocks. We reduce significantly the risks of shortages.

To build and sell this solution, there are two critical skills needed :

Even though, we have the right combinations of skills that gives us a unique ability to succeed. We have to pay attention to build a standard solution and avoid customized work. That is why we chose stock optimization as our entry solution. It requires a standard set of data and constraints and needs very little tweaks in between different customers.

What we want to do is build a network that would connect supply chains of different companies together. All stocks would be optimally and automatically positioned in the entire network.
